5th edition of European City Breaks Press Event in 2016
Dutch TLN-agency Baltus Communications will organise the 5th edition of the successful ‘European City Breaks Press Event’ in Amsterdam on the 24th of March in 2016. Together with French partner agency Agence TQC/exPRession, the event will also be introduced in Paris on the 22nd. The idea of the event is simple: providing the travel press with a
one-stop-shop for all information regarding city destinations and related travel brands. Participants – think of tourism boards, airlines, hotel chains, hostels, train and companies, gear brands – will have their own table for face-to-face meetings with the attending media. A great opportunity to discuss the latest trends, news, theme campaigns, routes, facts and figures.
The previous four editions in Amsterdam have proved to be very succesful with 30+ participants and 120+ media attending last year. For this jubilee edition the event will go beyond borders and will be introduced to the French media as well. “By spreading our wings, we hope to bring more opportunities for cities and related travel brands to promote their destinations and products on a global level which ultimately will result in more impact.” Marcel Baltus of Baltus Communications states. In this changing media landscape journalists and bloggers don’t have the time to visit each player individually anymore. By bringing them multiple important parties in one day and at one location they can work much more efficient.
