French camping brand Huttopia assigns Baltus Communications for Benelux market
Baltus Communications – Travel Lifestyle Network member for the BeNeLux – has been assigned by French camping brand Huttopia to carry out PR actions. The brand is relatively well-known in homeland France but wants to increase its brand awareness in the The Netherlands and Flanders . Marcel Baltus of Baltus Communications is pleased to welcome the brand to a growing list of French clients the agency represents.
“There are many camping brands in Europe, but none with the same passion for nature as Huttopia. As especially the Dutch, but also the Belgians, are very keen campers, working on increasing the brand awareness of Huttopia on these markets is a nice challenge for us.”
Huttopia sets istself apart from the pack by offering small scale campsites in the heart of nature. At the moment the brand has 29 campsites across France (and a few in Canada) which are all located in a natural area, ranging from forests to mountain ranges and the French coast. Guests can book a spot and bring their own tent, caravan or camper or book one of the different (furnished) tents, wooden cabins, mobile homes, chalets and roulottes.
France is the number one camping destination for the Dutch and Belgians as the climate overall is very pleasant spring, summer and autumn and the country is easily accessible by car via a network of highways. The Dutch have spent some 1.8 million long summer holidays in France last year.
Additionally, the French portfolio of Baltus Communications consists of the tourism boards of Champagne & Ardenne, La Lorraine, French Ardennes and Samoëns.
