Meliá Hotels International, Sales Mission May 2018

Brief

For the second year in a row, Atlantic Link was commissioned to organized two evening receptions on behalf of Meliá Hotels International in Stockholm and Copenhagen.

Strategy

The purpose of this sales mission was to expose the Meliá Hotels International brand to relevant clients in Copenhagen and Stockholm. At the evening receptions Virginie Dublanc, Head of Sales
Scandinavia, welcomed the clients with a presentation of the Meliá Hotels International brand and introduced the delegation of 21 hoteliers. During a workshop the hoteliers gave in-depth presentations of their properties. Upon arrival the clients received a Meliá Hotels International key card and were invited to stop by a safe to try their code during the workshop. The clients with the correct codes were the lucky winners of a stay at a Meliá property. The gimmick was fun and interactive and received great feedback from participants.

Results

A delegation of 21 Meliá hoteliers headed by Virginie Dublanc, Head of Sales Scandinavia, met with 160+ clients at two evening receptions and had productive meetings in groups with clients in Stockholm.
