May 19 will see the anniversary 10th editon of the annual City Breaks Press Event initiated by Benelux TLN member Baltus Communications. On this event, participating city tourist boards, airlines and rail companies, hotel chains, city guide publishing houses and other city break related organisations and products will be able to promote themselves to Dutch travel media, bloggers, instagrammers and influencers. Cities such Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Leeds, Düsseldorf, Bruges, Almere, Salzburg, Antwerp, Eindhoven, Prague, Mechelen, Leuven, Tilburg, Ottawa and hotel chain RoomMate Hotels have registered for participation with more interest in the pipeline. For further information, contact info@baltuscommunications.nl or visit the dedicated landing page.
The media workshop is an initiative of Dutch-based travel PR company Baltus Communications. Says Marcel Baltus: “European city breaks are an extremely important segment in total travel and it is showing growth figures year after year. An amazing 3.1 million city trips are taken by the Dutch each year (which are of course pre-Covid figures).
The City Breaks Press Event will take place on Thursday 19 May in the stunning venue restaurant annex beerbrewery De Prael in the Dutch city of The Hague.
Says Baltus: “Gone are the days that each and every individual travel organisation should organise its own press event or workshop. In these days of dwindling editorial staff and time constraints we make it extremely efficient and practical for press and bloggers to get information and network with an appealing mix of both Dutch and European cities.”
